This guide serves to highlight helpful resources at the AU LIbrary related to the study of African American history and culture. Also included are outside resources that are open access. This guide is not meant to be an exhaustive compilation of the resources available, merely a starting point. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of African American studies, the related Subject Guides listed in the left column may be helpful as well. If you have any questions or feedback about this guide, feel free to contact me. Support is also available from the Research Assistance Desk.
