Seabiscuit. 2003. 1 videodisc (141 min.). Based on a true story. A half-blind ex-prizefighter and mustang breaker team up with a millionaire and his rough-hewn, undersized horse, Seabiscuit. The men bring Seabiscuit to incredible heights, helping to turn a long shot into a legend. Eventually, Seabiscuit earns Horse of the Year honors in 1938. Feature film. HOME USE COLLECTION DVD 7265

Seabiscuit. 2003. 1 videodisc (55 min.). While not looking the part, Seabiscuit was one of the most remarkable thoroughbred racehorses in history. In the 1930s, when Americans longed to escape the grim realities of Depression-era life, four men turned Seabiscuit into a national hero. DVD 6995

The first Saturday in May. 2007. 1 videodisc (100 min.). Follows six diverse trainers as they jockey for position along the 2006 Kentucky Derby trail. Of the 40,000 thoroughbred horses born each year, only 20 make it into the Kentucky Derby. This film follows the stories of six trainers, their horses and their families as they pursue the ultimate goal, to have their horse stand at the gate for a shot at winning the Kentucky Derby.
