Cabell’s helps authors easily find more information about journals in many science and social science fields. Cabell’s includes two products, Journalytics and Predatory (formerly known as Whitelist and Blacklist). Journalytics includes information about the most recent year's academic journals to help authors select a journal for manuscript submission, and includes a description of the review process, acceptance rate, and manuscript topics, as well as a snapshot of journal metrics. Predatory includes information about possible predatory journal publishers using an evaluative model to identify potential violations, such as false claims made on the journal’s website.
