How do you find primary sources?
AU subscribes to over 130 individual databases of primary source materials. For a list, go to the library’s homepage > Research Assistance > Databases > All Database Types > Primary Sources.
Don’t limit your search to these databases. Depending on your topic, primary sources can be found in many other databases and in depositories, libraries, and archives that may be accessible through the Internet.
The search box on the library’s home page can also help find primary sources. For example, enter: Solzhenitsyn AND (letters OR diaries OR “personal narratives” OR autobiography). Please note that the library’s search box sometimes returns some fuzzy results – perhaps close, but not exactly what you asked for.
