  • Click the link in the email to activate your subscription
• If already verified (there won't be a prompt), go to the Subscription & Billing tab in My Post
  • Click 'Activate free digital access'

After you have registered for a WashingtonPost.com account and activated digital access:

• Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com
• Sign in with your WashingtonPost.com credentials -- your @american.edu email address and the password you created

To view articles located in AU Library Search, log in to washingtonpost.com and search for the article title there.

1. Visit washingtonpost.com and click on 'Sign in' in the upper right-hand corner
   
    
2. Enter your @american.edu email address in the field then click 'Next':
   
    
3. On the following page, set a password and accept terms, then click 'Create Account':
   
    
4. Check your inbox for an email from The Washington Post <email@washingtonpost.com> with the subject 'Verify your email address' and click on the link to verify your account

Your subscription is now active.
