Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

At the age of 9, Abraham Lincoln witnesses his mother being killed by a vampire, Jack Barts. Some 10 years later, he unsuccessfully tries to eliminate Barts but in the process makes the acquaintance of Henry Sturgess who teaches him how to fight and what is required to kill a vampire. The quid pro quo is that Abe will kill only those vampires that Henry directs him to. Abe relocates to Springfield where he gets a job as a store clerk while he studies the law and kills vampires by night. He also meets and eventually marries the pretty Mary Todd. Many years later as President of the United States, he comes to realize that vampires are fighting with the Confederate forces. As a result he mounts his own campaign to defeat them.

African Queen

In the romantic adventure of all time, an alcoholic skipper and a prim spinster confront danger and find love on a sleazy steamer during World War I. Bogart won his only Oscar for this movie. 

Aguirre, the Wrath of God 

Noted by legendary film critic Roger Ebert as one of his top ten favorite films of all time, this masterpiece from Oscar-nominated director Werner Herzog is an unforgettable portrait of madness and power. In the mid-16th century, after annihilating the Incan empire, Gonzalo Pizarro (Allejandro Repulles) leads his army of conquistadors over the Andes into the heart of the most savage environment on earth in search of the fabled City of Gold, El Dorado. As the soldiers battle starvation, Indians, the forces of nature, and each other, Don Lope de Aguirre (Klaus Kinski), "The Wrath of God," is consumed with visions of conquering all of South America and revolts, leading his own army down a treacherous river on a doomed quest into oblivion. 

Alien

When commercial towing vehicle Nostromo, heading back to Earth, intercepts an SoS signal from a nearby planet, the crew are under obligation to investigate. After a bad landing on the planet, some crew members leave the ship to explore the area. At the same time as they discover a hive colony of some unknown creature, the ship's computer deciphers the message to be a warning, not a call for help. When one of the eggs is disturbed, the crew do not know the danger they are in until it is too late.

Aliens

The bloodcurdling terror that began in Alien continues in the horrifying sequel to the smash hit! Sigourney Weaver returns as Warrant Officer Ripley, sole survivor of the massacre that took place aboard the spaceship Nostromo. Now an entire horde of acid-bleeding, metaljawed monsters has come to life, and they are even more vicious than their evil predecessors. It's up to Weaver and a troop of futuristic soldiers including battle-hardened Michael Biehn (The Terminator), to stop the attack of these blood-thirsty murderers! Aliens is a nightmarish shocker that multiplies the horror of the original film.

Alien 3

Having left disaster behind, Ripley arrives on an orbiting prison space station only to again be faced with battling the Alien while hindered by the lack of technology in this new world.

Alien Nation

This action packed detective thriller is set in the streets of Los Angeles in the very near future after 300,000 immigrant newcomers arrive from another planet and are integrated into human society. James Caan plays a tough cop determined to find his former partner's killer. Mandy Patinkin portrays the newcomer cop taken on by Caan as his new partner. This oddly-matched pair overcome the boundaries of racial prejudice and, in the process of solving the murder, uncover something far more dangerous.

Aliens vs. Predator

When a Predator scout ship crash lands in a Colorado town. The Aliens on board escape and kill all the Predators except one. The last remaining Predator must now destroy all the Aliens as well as the horfic Pred-Alien that was spawned in the first AVP. Meanwhile the towns people are helplessly caught in the middle of the ultimate face-off between these two mythic creatures.

Alita: Battle Angel

Set several centuries in the future, the abandoned Alita (Rosa Salazar) is found in the scrapyard of Iron City by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a compassionate cyber-doctor who takes the unconscious cyborg Alita to his clinic. When Alita awakens she has no memory of who she is, nor does she have any recognition of the world she finds herself in. Everything is new to Alita, every experience a first. As she learns to navigate her new life and the treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield Alita from her mysterious past while her street-smart new friend, Hugo (Keean Johnson), offers instead to help trigger her memories. Assassin’s Creed

Bandidas

Black Widow

A married Broadway producer is taken with an innocent young woman who wants to be a writer and make it on Broadway. He decides to take her under his wing, but it's not long before the young lady is found dead in his apartment. At first thought to be a suicide, it is later discovered that she has been murdered, and suspicion immediately falls on the producer. He begins his own investigation in order to clear his name, and one of the first things he finds out is that the young woman wasn't quite as naive and innocent as she appeared to be.

Dancing with the Devil

Deadpool

Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Die Hard 2

Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Eddie the Eagle

The film details the inspiring exploits of Michael Edwards, better known as "Eddie the Eagle," the most famous ski jumper in British history. The film's portrayal of Edwards' never-say-die approach to the sport, celebrates the human spirit and resilience in the face of extraordinary odds and challenges. Taron Egerton, who made his feature film starring debut in Kingsman: The Secret Service, portrays Eddie the Eagle, and Hugh Jackman plays a ski jumping expert from Lake Placid who helps Eddie train for the Calgary Olympics.

Escape From the Planet of The Apes

Following the events in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes", Cornelius and Zira flee back through time to 20th Century Los Angeles, where they face persecution similar to what Taylor suffered in the future, and discover the origins of the stream of events that will shape their world.

Fantastic Voyage

The 47 Ronin

I Robot

Will Smith stars in this action thriller inspired by the well-known short story collection by Isaac Asimov, and brought to the big screen by dynamic and visionary director Alex Proyas (Dark City, The Crow). Logan

Set in the future, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men when a corporation lead by Nathaniel Essex is destroying the world leaving it to destruction, with Logan's healing abilities slowly fading away and Xavier's Alzheimer's forcing him to forget. Logan must defeat Nathaniel Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.

Man on Fire

An action film directed by Tony Scott ("Enemy of the State," "Spy Game"), starring Denzel Washington as an ex-soldier living out his life in Mexico who reluctantly agrees to protect a child whose parents are threatened by a wave of kidnappings. When the child is abducted and presumed killed while under his watch, Washington's fiery rage is unleashed on those he feels are responsible.  

Marked for Death

A retired DEA agent returns to his quiet hometown only to discover things have changed, a dangerous drug lord has taken over when the DEA agent kills one of the drug lord's gunman, he finds himself marked for death. In retaliation, he goes after the bad guys...with a vengeance. 

The Martian

During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring "the Martian" home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible, rescue mission. Max Payne

Based on the legendary, hard-hitting interactive video game, MAX PAYNE tells the story of a maverick cop determined to track down those responsible for the brutal murder of his family and partner. As the mystery deepens, Max (Wahlberg) is forced to battle enemies beyond the natural world and face an unthinkable betrayal. 

The Maze Runner

Thomas wakes up in an elevator, remembering nothing but his own name. He emerges into a world of about 60 teen boys who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies. A new boy arrives every 30 days. The original group has been in "The Glade" for two years, trying to find a way to escape through the Maze that surrounds their living space. They have begun to give up hope. Then a comatose girl arrives with a strange note, and their world begins to change. There are some great, fast-paced action scenes, particularly those involving the nightmarish Grievers who plague the boys.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trails

In this next chapter of the epic "Maze Runner" saga, Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

Metropolis

In a futuristic city sharply divided between the working class and the city planners, the son of the city's mastermind falls in love with a working class prophet who predicts the coming of a savior to mediate their differences. 

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

John and Jane Smith are a normal married couple, living a normal life in a normal suburb, working normal jobs...well, if you can call secretly being assassins "normal". But neither Jane nor John knows about their spouse's secret, until they are surprised to find each other as targets! But on their quest to kill each other, they learn a lot more about each other than they ever did in five (or six) years of marriage. 

The Negotiator 

Set in Chicago, The Negotiator follows the story of a maverick hostage negotiator (Danny Roman Jackson), who becomes the victim of a police frame-up. Roman turns the tables on his captors by himself taking the chief of Internal Affairs and some of his staff hostage. As police and media tension escalates, Chris Sabian (Spacey), another respected hostage negotiator, is called in to mediate. Convinced of Roman's innocence, Sabian becomes Roman's ally in his quest for a way out of the powder-keg situation and search for a plan to smoke out the guilty cops who framed him. 

The Ox-Bow Incident

Two drifters are passing through a Western town, when news comes in that a local farmer has been murdered and his cattle stolen. The townspeople, joined by the drifters, form a posse to catch the perpetrators. They find three men in possession of the cattle, and are determined to see justice done on the spot.

Three American astronauts crash on a planet where the inhabitant-rulers are civilized, articulate apes who hunt humans like animals.

Predator

Mighty Arnold Schwarzenegger battles a deadly alien Predator in this horrifying high-tech thriller. Schwarzenegger stars as the leader of a military rescue unit sent into the jungles of Latin America in search of allied captives. Rocky's Appolo Creed, Carl Weathers, is second in command. One by one, Schwarzenegger's men are killed by an unseen enemy. They are no longer the hunters, but rather the hunted and there is nowhere to hide from the monstrous, inhuman Predator!

The Predator

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

Predator II

Detective-Lieutenant Mike Harrigan is a tough cop determined to bring down the Predator from another world who has been killing drug lords, and is now killing Harrigan's own men, in the urban jungle of Los Angeles, 1997.

Revenge 

In the old African Wild West, a peace-loving family man moves to a vacant farm in search of a new life. His hopes are shattered when his son is beaten badly and his wife murdered by a gang of ruthless thugs. He is rescued and nursed back to health by a good samaritan, living alone in the hills. It is soon revealed that the samaritan is a reformed gangster, who eventually trains the man, setting him on a path to exact his revenge upon his wife’s murderers appropriately. 

The Siege

After the abduction by the US military of a Muslim religion leader, New York City become the target of escalating terrorist attacks. Anthony Hubbard, the head of the FBI/NYPD Terrorism Task Force, teams up with CIA operative Elise Kraft to capture the organization responsible for the terror in NYC. As bomb attacks go on, The US government decides to send the army into the NYC streets, lead by the General Devereaux, and declares Martial Law.

Stagecoach

A group of unlikely traveling companions find themselves on the same stagecoach to Cheyenne. They include a drunken doctor, a bar girl who's been thrown out of town, a professional gambler, a traveling liquor salesman, a banker who has decided to embezzle money, a gunslinger out for revenge and a young woman going to join her army captain husband. All have secrets but when they are set upon by an Indian war party and then a family of outlaws, they find they must all work together if they are to stay alive. 

Strange Days

Superman and the Mole Men

Reporters Clark Kent and Lois Lane arrive in a small town to witness the drilling of the world's deepest oil well. The drill, however, has penetrated the underground home of a race of small, furry people who then come to the surface at night to attack!. Only Superman has a chance to prevent this tragedy. 

Taken

Seventeen year-old Kim is the pride and joy of her father Bryan Mills. Bryan is a retired agent who left the Secret Service to be near Kim in California. Kim lives with her mother Lenore and her wealthy stepfather Stuart. Kim manages to convince her reluctant father to allow her to travel to Paris with her friend Amanda. When the girls arrive in Paris they share a cab with a stranger named Peter, and Amanda lets it slip that they are alone in Paris. Using this information an Albanese gang of human traffickers kidnaps the girls. Kim barely has time to call her father and give him information. Her father gets to speak briefly to one of the kidnappers and he promises to kill the kidnappers if they do not let his daughter go free. The kidnapper wishes him "good luck," so Bryan Mills travels to Paris to search for his daughter and her friend. 

Taxi

"Chicago's" Queen Latifah and "Saturday Night Live's" Jimmy Fallon team up in this nonstop action-comedy. Latifah is New York's fastest cabbie whose skills behind the wheel and souped-up car help an overeager undercover cop (Jimmy Fallon) pursue a gang of female bank robbers.

The Thin Red Line

Set during World War II, the story follows an Army rifle company during several months of one of the fiercest struggles of the twentieth century -- the battle of Guadalcanal Island. "The Thin Red Line" marks a much-anticipated return to the director's chair by Malick, whose two previous efforts, "Badlands" and "Days of Heaven" were hailed by critics worldwide.

The 39 Steps

A man in London tries to help a counterespionage agent. But when the agent is killed and he stands accused, he must go on the run to both save himself and also stop a spy ring trying to steal top secret information. 

The 300 Spartans

A small band of soldiers stands against a mighty Persian army in a battle to free Greece.

Touch of Zen

An artist, Ku, lives with his mother near an abandoned fort, reputed to be haunted. One night, investigating strange noises, he meets the beautiful Yang who is living there. She is being pursued by agents of an Imperial noble who have murdered her family. Ku finds himself caught up in her struggle to survive, and many fierce battles take place before all is resolved. Unstoppable

A massive unmanned locomotive, nicknamed "The Beast" and loaded with toxic cargo, roars through the countryside, vaporizing anything put in front of it. A veteran engineer and a young conductor aboard another train in the runaway's path, devise an incredible plan to try and stop it -- and prevent certain disaster in a heavily populated area. 

Wages of Fear

In the South American jungle, supplies of nitroglycerine are needed at a remote oil field. The oil company pays four men to deliver the supplies in two trucks. A tense rivalry develops between the two sets of drivers on the rough remote roads where the slightest jolt can result in death. Winner of a BAFTA Award, the Palme d'Or and Special Mention Prize at Cannes Film Festival. 

War For the Planet of the Apes

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. X-Men

Based on the best-selling Marvel Comic's series, the story tells of a team of outcasts, each born with a unique genetic mutation that gives them extraordinary powers. X-Men First Class

Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time.
