Meet Professor Aarushi Sajejpal

After building some of the country’s most-trusted public COVID-19 datasets, Prof. Sahejpal came back to AU to teach quantitative methods and data journalism in the School of Communication. As a civic data scientist and journalist, Prof. Sahejpal brings the worlds of data,  artificial intelligence, and public media together. Sahejpal holds a dual appointment as Data Editor at The Investigative Reporting Workshop, which is the nonprofit and editorially-independent newsroom housed in SOC, where he runs a computational journalism lab.
