The University Library owns or subscribes to millions of books, journals, databases, and other resources in both print and electronic formats. All of the materials in our general collection are either immediately accessible on and off campus or requestable through AU Library Search.
The Library’s Collection Development program actively supports the library mission to build quality collections that serve university goals for learning, teaching and research, and features robust collections in many subject areas relevant to campus needs. The Library continually evaluates campus needs and resource use in order to prioritize resource access.
The Library is a member of the Washington Research Library Consortium, which facilitates quick access to print books and other materials through AU Library Search, and also facilitates questions regarding access to information through Ask a Librarian, available 24/7 during academic semesters.
