This is a selective list of video holdings in the American University Library. Filmographies are created by doing multiple keyword searches in the catalog to capture as many titles on a topic as possible.

Examines the PeacePlayers organization, which uses basketball to build bridges of understanding, communication and peace between Israeli and Palestinian children. The basketball diaries. 1998. 1 videodisc (102 min.). Teamed with his friends Mickey, Neutron and Pedro, high school student Jim Carroll seems headed for a bright basketball career. But when pressures from his coach, his mom, and school seem to mount, Jim finds solace in all the wrong places, and the dark streets of New York begin to tear him apart. Feature film. The campaign; The big game. Middletown. 1992. 1 videodisc (137 min.). The campaign: Follows two candidates, Jim Carey and Alan Wilson, in a Muncie, Indiana mayoral race. The big game: Updates a study of Muncie, Ind., done in the 1920s and 1930s. Explores both the continuity and change embodied in the people and institutions of one midwestern community. Using a cinema veritâe technique, captures the annual basketball game between the Muncie Central High School Bearcats and the Anderson High School Indians. DVD 7711
