To create a RSS feed for new books and ebooks from SearchBox, select the following limits after running a search. You can search by topic, limit for book/ebook, restrict by date 2011 to present, and select the Institution "American University" to get a RSS feed of books.
Some aggregators of books and electronic books let you set up alerts to find out about new books.
Google Book Alerts : Type in a title, author name, or topic and choose 'Books' from Sources and Enter an Email address. You will receive notification emails about recently published books.
