Exporting references from EndNote allows users to build bibliographies and easily add cited references to research papers and other projects.

Exporting References

How to insert EndNote Basic references into a research paper in Word:

1. Download the cite while you write plug in

2. With your Word document open, place the cursor in the location of your document where the citation should appear. Click the Find Citation(s) button on the toolbar. The Find & Insert My References dialog will appear.

3. Enter a search term in the Search field to find the reference you want to insert. Select the reference you want to insert, then click the Insert button.

The reference will be inserted into your word document, with the bibliography/reference list entry listed at the end of the page.
