Requesting a Ballot

• There is “no excuse” absentee ballot voting - called "Vote by Mail"
• Forms – different form for each county – must be mailed: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/vote-by-mail.shtml
  • Send to your county election official: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/vote-county-election-officials.shtml

Voting

• Pay attention to whether you need to put stamps on your ballot.  It varies by county.
• Ballot must be POSTMARKED by election day and RECEIVED no later than 6 days after the polls closed
• To hand-deliver, it must be received by election day.  You may hand deliver your ballot to either a secure drop box: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/vote-secure-drop-boxes.shtml or with your local county officials: https://www.state.nj.us/state/elections/county-eo.shtml
