Registration

  • NOTE:  If you will be voting absentee and have never voted before, then YOU MUST REGISTER IN PERSON.  Otherwise, you will need to vote in person your first time.  "Unless you are on the permanent absentee voting register, enrolled in the Safe at Home program, or you have previously voted in the county of registration, you must appear in-person to vote in the first election after you have registered by-mail or online at GoVoteTN.gov."

  • Being outside of your county for all times of early voting and the day of the election is a valid reason

Voting

• Ballot must be RECEIVED by election day
• PLEASE NOTE: Tennessee does not permit you to hand-deliver absentee ballots.
